A new season has started. This season includes some of the less frequently used maps - Viminacium (high score), Argos (most denarii), Emerita Augusta (high population) and Tarraco (time trail). The other two maps are Alexandria (high score) and Hippo Regius (high population).

The winners for Season XLIII were ENCARNIX (two firsts), Grotewittebeer (two firsts), jlchristian and clayto.

Caesar Showing His Age

A life sized marble bust of Julius Caesar has been retrieved from the Rhone River near Arles (part of Gallia Narbonensis in Roman times). The bust shows an ageing Caesar, with wrinkles and hollows, and may date back to 46 BC.
New Campaign

Yes, that's campaign, not scenario. Gordon Farrell, long time professional campaign designer and modder, has created the first custom campaign for Caesar IV.
It began in 81 BC, when Caesar was 19 years old and the infamous tyrant, L. Cornelius Sulla, marked Caesar and his family as enemies of Rome. Escaping Italy and seeking sanctuary in Asia Minor ...

Season XLII has finished. The medals haven't been awarded, but the winners were romana, Grotewittebeer, ENCARNIX (two firsts) and jlchristian (two firsts).

Season XLIII maps are available; they are Alexandria and Carthago (high score), Antiochia and Colonia Agrippina (high population) and Londinium (most denarii). The time trial is Caesarea, and there are no entries yet.
