Ok, so maybe not a dozen earthquakes, but there were a few until I figured out how to beat them. After then I did not lose a single building to a quake.
Did anybody else have as much trouble with food in this scenario as I did. I would be interested to hear what you did to keep everybody in your city happy with their meals. Around Sept. Oct. I started to run short. As always, any comments, hints and tips will be well received.
I don't think I had food problems. I had half the number of grain farms, but twice as many food markets. The extra markets (I had 6), meant extra cart pushers to empty the farms.
I also set my granaries to hold 12 of each food type. That means the cart pushers are always busy, even if one type of food is temporarily unavailable.
I think my housing was nearer the farmland too, so that might have made a difference.
